Business Snapshot

Earthlings Coffee Workshop Sdn Bhd is a Sarawak-based coffee specialist enterprise and a pioneer in driving the specialty coffee movement in the region. Its business scope spans internationally recognised coffee education programmes, specialty cafe operations, coffee cultivation and research, professional consulting, coffee roasting, and coffee equipment supply.

The team behind Earthlings Coffee Workshop is certified by several international professional coffee organisations, including Specialty Coffee Association (SCA), Coffee Quality Institute (CQI), and Coffee Consulate (Germany). 

Through the Liberica Refinement Project, Earthlings Coffee Workshop has also supported coffee farmers across multiple regions in Sarawak. This initiative has significantly enhanced the value and international recognition of their coffee products.

Working With Satu Creative

Our collaboration with Satu Creative began in October 2024. Through their support, we secured the necessary funding to better support the local indigenous coffee farming industry.

This partnership also enabled us to upgrade various aspects of the Refinement Project, including hardware, research efforts, and marketing narratives.

Azuar Zainuddin

Chief Executive Officer

Ahmad Azuar Zainuddin is an educator and entrepreneur focused on driving economic and social impact through entrepreneurship and innovation. With deep experience in capacity building and ecosystem development, he designs and delivers initiatives that empower aspiring and early-stage Malaysian entrepreneurs. Azuar is also a frequent media contributor and a sought-after speaker across the region.

He was recognised as runner-up in the Best Implementation Partner category at the 2022 Shell LiveWIRE Top Ten Innovators Awards in Mexico City. He holds a Master’s in Communications and Media Studies from Monash University and a Bachelor of Arts in Design from Curtin University. Outside of work, he enjoys reading and the arts.
